Insiden Mencuci Bau Kencur presented the polarization in society due to identity politics played by right-wing political elites in Indonesia after the New Order. Horizontal conflicts in society are unavoidable, causing social violence in public spaces. This work is a critique of this situation and at the same time encourages the participation of young people in discussing the social problems around them.
